FRICTION  CIRCULAR SAW  KNIVES  The comprehensive range of Friction Circular Saw Blades offered by us is used for cutting iron & steel tubes, pipes, channels, angles, rods and profiles. These Blades are also useful for the cutting of carbon steel in cold condition (<100 °C) through dry smelt cutting (friction cutting.) Thus, our range finds wide application in flying or stationary sawing machines of continuously operating profile. Moreover, these can also be used in tube production lines or in making grates, fender walls owing to the fast & consistent cutting performance and long life. The saw blades are precisely hardened, ground, skillfully straightened and tensioned to be used for the cutting iron & steel tubes, pipes, channels, angles, rods and profiles. Custom specification Friction saw blades are also manufactured at our plant to meet any specific custom requirements of a client, and to optimize the use of the blades and of the working process to carry out.


  • Steel Grade: Material with alloy composition optimized according to the required life of tool. Chrome-vanadium steel grade with good harden ability & tool life for saw blades.
  • Cooling: As the friction saw melts the cut by means of friction heat, cooling before or during cutting must be avoided. Cooling after the cut with flood water may increase the life of the blade
  • Heat Treatment: Through hardened & tempered usually for various diameters
  • Coatings: Single or multiple chrome plating optional for improvement of gliding properties & increase of surface hardness.

Friction Saw  blades & knives are provided with extra-sharp tooth edges in the circular saw rotary blades. Friction saw knives operation is based on the strength of the frictional heat generated between saw teeth and work piece while the cutting operation is on specially since the the friction saw knives and blades cutting operation are performs at high speed excessive frictional heat is generated with any cutting operation with the use of friction saw knives and blades. Chromium-Vanadium steel is generally used as a raw material for manufacturing of friction saw blades which can sustain its toughness and has ability to resist the stress of high operating speeds (60 - 90 meter per second). Saw should be mounted true and should not run out.

HSS Saw Blades The HSS ( M2 ) slitting saws offered by us confirm to IS 5031/DIN 1837 having diameters from 20mm to 400mm and thickness range from 0.2mm to 6mm. These saws are manufactured using the latest developments in cutting geometries and surface treatments. All these are hardened to 63/64 HRC, triple tempered and pressed quenched to give flattest saw possible. The heat treatment is done by a modern automatic and ecologically safe through feed hardening line. We offer a wide range off HSS Circular Saw Blades. These are used for sawing tube and profile with little burr or burr free, and ferrous & non ferrous metal. Further, these are also for stainless steel gray cast iron & all cross section on stationary & flying cutting units in mass production or on continuously operating production line.
